Summer is here, and it’s time to fire up the grill! Here are some yummy GRILL recipes to get you excited for the spring and summer cooking months!
Grilled Pineapple Chicken Skewers
Ingredients:
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 pineapple, cut into chunks
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons canola oil
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces and thread them onto skewers along with pineapple chunks.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, canola oil, rice vinegar, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Brush the mixture onto the skewers.
- Grill over medium high heat for 10-12 minutes, flipping once.
Grilled Shrimp Skewers
Ingredients:
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 limes, zested and juiced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
Instructions:
- Combine lime zest, lime juice, garlic, olive oil, salt, black pepper, red pepper flakes, and paprika in a ziploc bag.
- Add in the shrimp, seal the bag and shake to coat them evenly.
- Thread the shrimp onto skewers and grill over medium heat for 2-3 minutes on each side.
Grilled Peppery Steak
Ingredients:
- 2 bone-in ribeye steaks
- 2 tablespoons canola oil
- 2 tablespoons black pepper
- 2 tablespoons salt
Instructions:
- Heat the grill to high heat.
- Brush the steaks with canola oil.
- Mix together the salt and pepper and rub the seasoning onto both sides of the steaks.
- Grill the steaks for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare.
