Exciting news swept through TOSA like a sweet tasteful ice cream treat. And Joy Ice Cream Social finally arrived!
Nestled in the heart of our community, this is a gathering spot for families, friends, and community. What was once a vacant lot with an old-school gas station in midtown Wauwatosa has transitioned into a tastefully designed and well-executed ice cream social! Owner Liz Joy purchased the property in July 2022 and opened up shop earlier this summer. As Liz said, “I wanted to start something new. Create something for my family, for my neighborhood, for my community.” We LOVE this!
The shop serves ice cream from the Madison-based Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream Company. It also sells a variety of snacks and coffee, canned beer and wine, and teas. Check out the new parlors hours on social media as they will change for the fall.
