Read all about Little Geese Shop, local children’s boutique specializing in second-hand clothing, and their exciting plans for their new, permanent location!

The story behind Little Geese Shop is one to be admired. Owner Danielle saw a niche in the
market — for preloved children’s clothing and gear — and dove right in, establishing Little
Geese Shop last year. The shop has “popped up” at the Little Village Play Cafe over recent
months, but will debut its first-ever brick-and-mortar store later this year, at 7601 Harwood Ave.,
in the heart of the Village of Wauwatosa. (For our fellow design lovers, Sam Smith of interior
design studio One Smith Studio is designing the space, so we know it will be beautiful!)

Much of the Little Geese Shop mission is rooted in sustainability, as well, and Danielle and her
team carefully curate items sold at the shop, with the intention of reducing waste — and making
high-quality products accessible to and available to all parents, too. To boost inventory, parents
and caregivers can sell their gently used items to Little Geese Shop. The shop will pay for high-
quality items, but accepts everything. So, yes, if you want to get rid of that bin — or those bins!
— full of kids’ clothes, drop it off. Little Geese Shop will pay 30 percent of the selling price for
the items sold in the shop, and ensure the remaining items find a second life.

We can’t wait to continue following Danielle and her team on their journey, and so look forward
to visiting the shop when it opens later this year. We also caught up with her last fall, and she
shared a bit more about her family, business, and Tosa must-dos. Best of luck, Danielle!
