The new year often spurs a desire to purge, organize, and re-decorate. One of the easiest ways to transform a space is via a fresh coat of paint, so here our team shares our go-to colors.
● Neutrals:
- White Dove by Benjamin Moore: A classic. Plain and simple.
- Alabaster by Sherwin-Williams: A touch warmer than White Dove, but also a great neutral for whole-house cover.
- Pointing by Farrow & Ball: F&B paint is a bit of a splurge, but we’re convinced this is the best creamy-warm white on the market.
- Creamy White by Benjamin Moore: Our go-to for cabinetry, this hue reads more taupe-y than white.
● Colors:
- Cinnamon Slate by Benjamin Moore: We’re loving BM’s Color of the Year! It’s pigmented, yes, but the color can also function as a neutral.
- Van Courtland Blue by Benjamin Moore: We recently used this color to paint a young boy’s room, and couldn’t love it more. It’s just the right amount of color, without feeling imposing or over-the-top.
- French Gray by Farrow & Ball: A forever favorite.
- Pewter Green by Sherwin-Williams: We’ve tried many different greens, but this one feels both fresh and timeless. Great for accent cabinetry, too.
